Our team at Focus shares the grief and pain felt by Atlanta and Americans across the U.S. following recent events. Our hearts and condolences go out to the families of the victims at this time.

Here at Focus, we are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. As an employer of hundreds of employees, we want to spread love in the world and do our part to make our community, our country, and our world a better place to live and work.

We believe this all starts with education. Below are some resources pulled directly from SHRM-Atlanta (Society for Human Resource Management, Atlanta Chapter) and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Please visit SHRM-Atlanta for full list of resources.

Help every citizen across metro Atlanta to be counted

Encourage your employees and others in your community to complete the 2020 Census.

Support legislation against hate crime

We urge you to reach out to your state representative and senator to let them know you support swift passage of legislation against hate crimes that aligns our state’s laws with our values.

Host thoughtful conversations within your organization

We encourage you to create a safe space for dialogue within your organization, and to share and comment on what’s working and what’s not working with your HR colleagues through SHRM-Atlanta Connect, our online discussion forum.

Additionally, we encourage HR professionals to attend SHRM-Atlanta Online: An Open Discussion on HR’s Role in Impacting Racial Equality.
